The Journey of Sadegh Rostami
Sadegh Rostami was born in Persia, a country with rich tradition of two millennia in the manufacture and maintenance of handmade rugs, world-famous for their outstanding quality, splendid colors and unique patterns.
From his early childhood, he got acquainted with the secrets of this art as the manufacture, repair and maintenance of handmade rugs was a family tradition.
Later, as a teenager, he was working in the family-run repair and maintenance business for handmade rugs, which his uncle maintains till today in downtown Tehran. He gained extensive experience in this field, having learned in detail all stages of manufacture, repair and maintenance of handmade rugs.
He came to Greece and used his knowledge and passion for this art. He collaborates with branded shops in the field of handmade rugs as well as with large rug cleaning companies in Attica.
He met and married his Greek partner, and they run together the company of episkevi-halion.gr in Dafni.
As a Persian craftsman, he can guarantee the best possible result in any technical work he will take on for your handmade rug.
