Each side of the rug ends at the hem, which is sewn from the same wool as the one that has been used for the whole rug. When the wool is worn out, the pattern of your rug on the side edges is also destroyed.
We can fix it by painting the wool in the same color as the carpet and by sewing it the same way the hem was seamed, as we are specialized in anything related to handmade hem and the Persian rug binding.
If the rug pattern is damaged, it is possible to repair it.
